Meaning: seeming; giving the appearance of

How to use the:
いadj (-い) + げに
なadj + げな

Explain:
Indicates the perceived state of another person’s mood

Example sentences:
1, その人は退屈げに雑誌のページをめくっていた。
Sono hito wa taikutsu-ge ni zasshi no pēji o mekutte ita.
The person turned boringly through the pages of the magazine.

2, 学生たちは楽しげにおしゃべりしていた。
gakuseitachi wa tanoshige ni oshaberi shite ita.
The students chatted away cheerfully.

3, 彼女の笑顔にはどこか寂しげなところがあった。
Kanojo no egao ni wa doko ka sabishigena tokoro ga atta.
There was something lonely in her smile.

4, そりゃあちょっとあやしげに見えますからね、そう思いませんか?
soryaa chotto ayashige ni miemasu kara ne, sou omoimasen ka.
It looks a little suspicious, don’t you think?

5, 彼のそのいわくありげな様子が私には気になった。
Kare no sono iwaku ari-gena yōsu ga watashiniha ki ni natta.
I was curious about his sorrowful appearance.

6, 興味ありげに彼女は私をまじまじと見た。
kyoumi ari ge ni kanojo wa watashi o majimaji to mita.
She stared at me curiously.
