How to use the: Verb-casual, past + ところ

Explain:
Describe how you will get results after doing something. Describe the results against expectations and forecasts.

Example sentences:
1, その内容について話し合いたいと思っていたところだ。
sono naiyou ni tsuite hanashiaitai to omotte ita tokoro da.
I’ve been wanting to discuss it with you.

2, 教室に行ってみたところが、学生は一人も来ていなかった。
Kyōshitsu ni itte mita tokoro ga, gakusei wa hitori mo kite inakatta.
When I went to the classroom to see why no students came

3, アメリカから日本に戻ったところです。
amerika kara nihon ni modotta tokoro desu.
I just returned to Japan from America.

4, 先生にお願いしたところ、早速承諾の返事をいただいた。
Sensei ni onegai shita tokoro, sassoku shōdaku no henji o itadaita.
When I asked the teacher, I got a reply of consent immediately.

5, 食事をしたところ、お腹が痛いしました。
Shokuji o shita tokoro, onakagaitai shimashita.
After eating rice, my stomach ached

6, 図書館にあなたを探しにいってきたところです。
toshokan ni anata o sagashi ni ittekita tokoro desu.
I was going to the library to look for you.

7, 彼が何か飲み物を取りにいったところよ。
