Meaning: I don’t know about A, but B; A is acceptable, but B

How to use the: Noun + ならいざしらず

Example sentences:
1, 他の人ならいざしらず、私はそんなことができない。
Hokanohitonara iza shirazu, watashi wa son’na koto ga dekinai.
If it’s the other person then okay, but I can’t do that

2, 国内旅行ならいざしらず、海外旅行に行くとなると、準備を大変だ。
Kokunai ryokōnara iza shirazu, kaigai ryokōniiku to naru to, junbi o taihenda.
If traveling in the country is okay, but if traveling abroad, the preparation is also hard

3, 安いホテルならいざしらず、一流(いちりゅう)ホテルでこんなにサービスが悪いなんて許せない。
Yasui hoterunara iza shirazu, ichiryū (ichi ryū) hoteru de kon’nani sābisu ga warui nante yurusenai.
The budget hotel doesn’t say anything but the first-class hotel where the service is as bad as this is unbearable.
