1. Hello : こんにちは Konnichiwa (Formal)

2. Hi (Yoo-Hoo) : ヤッホー Yahhoo (Informal) … generally used by female

3. Hey (man)! : おす or おっす Osu or Ossu (Informal)… generally used by male

4. Good morning : おはようございます Ohayoo gozaimasu (Formal)

5. Good morning : おはよう Ohayoo (Informal)

6. Good evening : こんばんは Konbanwa (Formal)

7. It’s been a while. : おひさしぶりです Ohisashiburi desu (Formal)

8. It’s been a while. : (お) ひさしぶり (O) hisashiburi (Informal)
