Japanese for Workplace Communication

1. 頭を使って考えろ
(あたまをつかってかんがえろ)
Atama o tsukatte kangaero
Use your head to think.

2. だらだらしないでよ
Daradara shinaide yo
Don’t be lazy at work.

3. 困らせないでくれる?
(こまらせないでくれる?)
Komarasenaide kureru?
Don’t make it difficult for me, okay?

4. 仕事中ぼうっとするな
(しごとちゅうぼうっとするな)
Shigoto-chuu boutto suru na
While doing it, do not be negligent.

5. 急かさないで、やってるから
(せかさないで、やってるから)
Sekasanaide, yatteru kara
Don’t rush me, I’m working on it.

6. 時間を守ってぞ
(じかんをまもってぞ)
Jikan o mamotte zo
Please follow the time.

7. こっちに持ってこい
(こっちにもってこい)
Kocchi ni motte koi
Bring it here.

8. 不良品がでたらどうしますか
(ふりょうひんがでたらどうしますか)
Furyouhin ga detara dou shimasu ka
What if the goods are damaged?

9. 念のためチェックします
(ねんのためチェックします)
Nen no tame chekku shimasu
Double check.

10. わからなかったら、言ってね
(わからなかったら、いってね)
Wakaranakattara, itte ne
If you don’t understand, just tell me.

11. 仕事が終わったら教えてね
(しごとがおわったらおしえてね)
Shigoto ga owattara oshiete ne
Tell me when you’re done.

12. 使い終わったら、しまってね
(つかいおわったら、しまってね)
Tsukai owattara, shimatte ne
When you’re done using it, put it away.

13. 手本をやってみせる
(てほんをやってみせる)
Tehon o yatte miseru
Let me show you an example.

14. そのままにしてね
Sono mama ni shite ne
Just leave it as it is.

15. 同じミスを繰り返しないです
(おなじミスをくりかえしないです)
Onaji misu o kurikaeshinai desu
I will not repeat the mistake twice.

16. 仕事の飲み込みがはやいね
(しごとののみこみがはやいね)
Shigoto no nomikomi ga hayai ne
You catch on to work fast.
