と思います (to omoimasu)

Meaning: I think

Explain:
We use the auxiliary「と」 to denote the content of 「おもいます」
Used to indicate speculation
When judging and thinking about something that is negative, the previous part of 「と」 will be negative. Used to express ideas.
When asking someone about something, use a sentence pattern 「~についてどうおもいますか」
and paying attention without 「と」in after 「どう」
Case to show your agreement or disagree with others

Example sentences:
1, 今日は雨が降らないと思います。
Kyō wa ame ga furanai to omoimasu.
I think it won’t rain today.

2, 先生は来いと思います。
Sensei wa koi to omoimasu.
I think the teacher will come.

3, 彼の言ったことはうそだと思います。
Kare no itta koto wa usoda to omoimasu.
I think what he said was a lie.

4, 確か、机の上に置いたともいます。
Tashika, tsukue no ue ni oitatomo imasu.
I remember putting it on the table.
