Meaning: can do nothing but; there’s only
How to use the:
ただ + casual, non-past + のみ
ただ + Noun + のみ
Explain:
Used in the case of the expression that there is only one property / action, to emphasize the uniqueness.
Example sentences:
1, 心配したのはただ、そのことのみです。
Shinpai shita no wa tada, sono koto nomidesu.
