How to use the: Verb-casual, past + ところで

Explain:
Used in the case of expressing the subjective judgment of the speaker, which negates the assumption that it is useless or contrary to prediction.

Example sentences:
1, 今頃になって急いだところで、無駄だ。
Imagoro ni natte isoida tokoro de, mudada.
Now it is useless no matter how rushed

2, 今から勉強したところで、明日のテストでいい点は取れないだろう。
ima kara benkyou shita tokoro de, ashita no tesuto de ii ten wa torenai darou.
Even if you studied now, you wouldn’t get good mark on tomorrow’s test.

3, 到着が少しぐらい遅れたところで問題はない。
Tōchaku ga sukoshi gurai okureta tokoro de mondai wanai.
Even if it’s a little late, it doesn’t matter

4, 頑丈な作りですから倒れたところで壊れる心配はありません。
Ganjōna tsukuridesukara taoreta tokoro de kowareru shinpai wa arimasen.
