How to use the:
Verb-dictionary form + まえに
Noun + のまえに

Explain:
In the case of verbs: this sentence pattern indicates that the verb 2 action precedes the verb 1 action. The verb 1 is always in the original form, whether verb 2 is present in the past or future tense. .
In the case of nouns: when 「ま え に」 is used after the noun, we must add 「の」 immediately after the noun. The noun before 「ま え に」 is a noun that indicates or indicates movements.
In case of word count (period): if word count (period) do not add 「の」

Example sentences:
1, 私のまえに砂糖さんが座っていた。
Watashi no mae ni satō-san ga suwatte ita.
Sugar was sitting before me.

2, 駅のまえに大きなマンションが建った。
Eki no mae ni ōkina manshon ga tatta.

3, 警察が来る前にここを離れなくちゃ。
keisatsu ga kuru mae ni koko o hanarenakucha.

4, わたしは顧客に会う前に、いつも精神的な準備をする。
watashi wa kokyaku ni au mae ni, itsumo seishinteki na junbi o suru.

5, 寝る前に音楽を聞きます。
Nerumae ni ongaku o kikimasu.
Before going to bed I usually listen to music.

6, 結婚するまえには、一度ゆっくり仲間と旅行てもしてみたい。
