ね (ne) particle meaning : “~ right?”

The particle “ね” is used to seek the listener’s confirmation or agreement. This is attached to the end of a sentence.

How to use: Sentence + ね。

Example sentences:

1. A：きょうは　あついですね
B：そうですね。

A: It’s hot today, isn’t it?
B: That’s right

2. A：ちょっと　つれましたね。やすみましょうか。
B：いいですね。

A: I’m a little tired. Shall we rest?
B: That’s good.

3. A：でんわばんごうは　000-000-0000ですね。
B：はい、そうです。

A: The phone number is 000-000-0000.
B: Yes, that’s right.

4. A：このみちを　まっすぐいくと　えきがあるんですね。
B：はい、ありますよ。

A: There is an exit if you go straight down this road.
B: Yes
