Meaning: Definitely ~

How to use the:
Vる/Vない + はずです
Aい  + はずです
na Adj な + はずです
N の  + はずです

Explain:
This sentence pattern indicates that the speaker, on a certain basis, judges that something happened. This sentence is used to signify that the speaker is confident in that. This sentence is used to express feelings of repentance, regret, and skepticism.

Example sentences:
1, 山田さんも明日の会議には出席するんですか?
Yamada-san mo ashita no kaigi ni wa shusseki suru ndesu ka?
Yamada will attend the meeting tomorrow?

2, 来るはずですよ。明日電話がありましたから。
Kuru hazu desu yo. Ashita denwa ga arimashitakara.
Probably yes, this morning he called and said he would go

3, ちゃんとかばんい入れたはずなのに、家に帰ってみると財布がない。
Chanto kaban i ireta hazunanoni,-ka ni kaette miruto saifu ga nai.
