ば~ほど (ba~hodo)

Meaning: the more… the more

How to use the:
Verb-ばconditional + (same) Verb + ほど
いadj-ばconditional + (same) いadj + ほど
なadj + なら + (same)なadj + なほど

~ Usable as ~たら/なら~ほど with the noun (~たら/~たら) and the verb (~ら)

Example sentences:
1, 食べれば食べるほど太る。
Tabereba taberu hodo futoru.
The more you eat, the more you get fat.

2, 電気製品というのは、高くなればなるほど、使いにくくなる
Denki seihin to iu no wa, takaku nareba naru hodo, tsukai nikuku naru
The higher the price of electrical products, the harder they are to use

3, 考えれば考えるほどこの案は気に入った。
kangaereba kangaeru hodo kono an wa ki ni itta.
The more I thought about it, the better I liked the idea.

4, この説明は、読めば読むほど分からなくなる
Kono setsumei wa, yomeba yomu hodo wakaranaku naru
The more you read, the more you will not understand

5, どうしたらいいのか?考えれば考えるほど分からなくなってしまった。
Dōshitara ī no ka? Kangaereba kangaeru hodo wakaranaku natte shimatta.
What should I do now? The more I think about it, the less I understand.
