How to use the:
Verb-dictionary form + しかない

Explain:
Often used to indicate the intention to do so, there is no other way, nor any other possibility.

Example sentences:
1, ここまで来ればもう頑張ってやるしかほかに方法はありませんね。
Koko made kureba mō ganbatte yaru shika hoka ni hōhō wa arimasen ne.
When I came to this country, I could only do my best to try, but there was no other way

2, 子供はみんな暗闇を怖がるものだし、治すには厳しくあたるしかない。
kodomo wa minna kurayami o kowagaru mono dashi, naosu ni wa kibishiku ataru shika nai.
All children are afraid of the dark and the only cure is firmness.

3, 高すぎて買えないから、借りるしかないでしょう。
Taka sugite kaenaikara, kariru shika nai deshou.
Expensive, can not afford, maybe only a way to borrow it

4, 私はこの人生を生きていくしかない。
watashi wa kono jinsei o ikite iku shika nai.
All I can do is live the life I have.

5, そんなに学校がいやならやめるしかない。
Son’nani gakkō ga iyanara yameru shika nai.
Having tired of school like that, only way to drop out is school

6, そうする必要があるなら、そうするしかないわ。
sou suru hitsuyou ga aru nara, sou suru shika nai wa.
If it has to be, it has to be.
